This contract is set up to provide the client with access to a good, reliable contractor who can provide electrical repairs, servicing and maintenance on an as and when required or scheduled basis.
The service comprises of a number of elements including, but not limited to:
- Distribution Boards
- Earthing Systems
- Emergency Lighting
- Fan Convector heaters
- General Electrical works
- High Voltage Equipment
- Lighting Circuits
- Lighting Controls
- Lighting Fittings
- Load testing
- Main Distribution Panel Boards
- Power Circuits
- Solar Photovoltaic (PV) Installations
- Stage Lighting Systems
- TV Aerial
- Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) Systems (County Hall Data Centre)
- Repairs and servicing to a wind turbine
The Contract will be in place for a period of 2 years, with the option to extend for 2 periods of 2 years (2 + 2 + 2 = maximum 6 years).
Projects will vary in value but as an indication (based on the last 12 months), they may be: £1-£100 (24%) £100-£500 (65%) £500-£1,000 (6%) £1,000-£5,000 (5%) +£5,000 (<1%)
The procurement will be conducted in 2 stages:
- Stage 1 - Selection Stage - Bidders must meet all off the necessary selection criteria and provide answers to the questions asked. The questions will be marked by a panel and the top 3 (three) scoring Bidders will progress on to Stage 2.
- Stage 2 - Award Stage - Bidders will be evaluated on their submitted prices and answers to specific quality questions in order to achieve a price/quality score. The top scoring Bidder will be invited to enter the Contract.
