Arc Partnership pledges to enhance career prospects for students

We are proud to have renewed our Strategic Partnership Agreement with Nottingham Trent University (NTU) for another three years, further unlocking new opportunities for students and strengthening career pathways in construction.

Under the agreement, we pledge to continue our close working relationship with NTU to create unique learning experiences and job prospects for students, helping to develop local skills across the region.

The renewal marks three years of our strategic partnership with the university, which achieved national award recognition at the Construction News Workforce Awards.

However, this year, we are also delighted to have Via East Midlands joining the initiative alongside Arc Partnership. Together, we will deliver an expanded programme of graduate placements, applied research projects, mentoring, and guest lectures from 2026.

With one million construction workers needed by 2032, its essential we focus on developing skills and creating meaningful job prospects for young people, particularly here in Nottinghamshire. In a short three years, we have made a positive impact by providing 80 construction site visits, tailored guest lectures for 100 students and graduate placements.
