Shaping a better built environment for everyone

Sir John Robinson House is a Grade II listed former brewery, used as offices. We were appointed to replace and update the heating and lighting systems, whilst the office remained open.

At Hagg Farm, the roof of a recently built extension was beginning to fail. We thoroughly investigated and repaired the damage, while keeping the busy centre open for business.

When The Lanes needed three new classrooms, it planned to build a separate block. We delivered a great alternative, maintaining the original school design and keeping everyone under one roof.

At Ordsall Primary, we created a brand new classroom block for up to 180 new pupils, maximising available space and joining new facilities with the original school, using a covered walkway.

Our team helped Beardall Fields Primary with the second phase of their expansion plan, adding three new, energy-efficient classrooms to provide valuable school places for a growing community.

At The Mill Adventure Base, we turned a damp building into a striking, cedar-clad centrepiece, as well as installing energy-efficient solutions to keep running costs down.

At this employment and training centre for people with learning disabilities, we’ve carried out sensitive, energy-efficient refurbishment work, creating upgraded spaces and new possibilities.

This growing school needed two new classrooms. Our modular approach, along with offsite construction, helped to deliver bright, engaging new learning spaces, while reducing the school’s running costs.

At Harrier Park in Hucknall, we’ve created a brand new school for a brand new community. With 210 school places and a design that reflects the area’s heritage, it opened its doors in September 2019.

With the Little Herons building we set out to provide much needed early years accommodation that was functional, sympathetic to its environment and unimposing to the local playing fields.

We’re excited to be designing and project managing an ambitious project to replace an existing SEN school and day services with a striking new facility.

At Ash Lea SEN school, outdated facilities and a lack of space were making it difficult to meet pupils’ needs, so we designed and delivered a spacious, modern extension.

With the local community rapidly expanding, Bestwood Hawthorne needed room to welcome a growing number of children. Despite the challenges of a sloping site, we worked together to make it happen.

When Nottinghamshire County Council decided to demolish a dated CLASP block at County Hall, it was a complex project that called for careful planning and coordination.

When a new accommodation block was needed at a secure children’s home, we rose to the challenge, overcoming demanding security restrictions and poor ground conditions.

Inspire and Nottinghamshire County Council commissioned us to sustainably regenerate this 1960s library, creating a vibrant community hub with a warm welcome for everybody.

With so many libraries across the country facing closure, we were asked to regenerate the ageing facilities at Beeston, helping to keep its doors open and its community engaged.
