Significant growth sees Arc Partnership team bolstered

Arc Partnership’s Estates Service has experienced substantial growth over the past 18 months, doubling in size and marking another milestone with the appointment of a new Head of Estates.

The Estates Services team transferred to Arc Partnership from Nottinghamshire County Council in December 2024, as part of a strategic move to deliver end-to-end property lifecycle management services.

Since its inception, the Estates Service provision has gone from a four to nine-person strong team and now includes a graduate apprentice undertaking a five-year Chartered Surveying degree, a university graduate and colleagues undertaking their RICS Assessment of Professional Competence (APC), reflecting Arc Partnership’s commitment to developing future professionals.

To support this growing portfolio of work and drive the continued success of the service, Arc Partnership has appointed Janine Mason as Head of Estates. Bringing more than 30 years of experience in property management, Janine has an extensive background spanning land development disposals, valuation, asset management and property portfolio management across both the public and private sectors. Janine joins Arc having formerly been a Partner at Cushman and Wakefield.

I am delighted to join the Estates Team. As a socially responsible business, Arc Partnership has a genuine commitment to delivering value across communities and that drew me to the position.

Janine added: “I am delighted to join the Estates Team. As a socially responsible business, Arc Partnership has a genuine commitment to delivering value across communities and that drew me to the position.

“However, I also join at a particularly exciting time for the Estates team. Alongside the day-to-day management of the County Councils estate, the impact of Local Government Reorganisation and the expiry of PFI contracts will be significant considerations for our team and how we prepare and respond to these changes.”

Andrea Hopkins, the Estates Practice Director who previously led the Estates Team, will continue to support Janine in her new role but now also has responsibility for other high-growth areas of the business, including Risk Management Services, Development Services and Arc Partnership’s new Building Surveying Function which launched on 1 June.

We have a diverse and increasing portfolio of work supporting Nottinghamshire County Council’s ambitions for growth and development across Nottinghamshire. Janine’s appointment will be instrumental in delivering our pipeline of work, whilst ensuring client quality and KPIs are met at every turn. I look forward to seeing the positive impact of the team’s work delivered over the next three years.
