Securing, monitoring and maintaining vacant properties county-wide

Vacant Property Management

On behalf of Nottinghamshire County Council, Arc Partnership safely secure, monitor and maintain the authority's property portfolio, including vacant and new empty properties.

Vacant properties can make a significant impact to a road or area and carry an increased risk of fire, deterioration and trespass. Since 2020, our teams have worked closely with the Council and end-user clients to ensure the effective management of vacant properties whilst vital decisions are made regarding their future use, management, development or demolition and disposal.

From clearing and making the property safe and secure, our dedicated management team will continue to inspect the property and provide ongoing support services, including isolating utilities, carrying out maintenance and providing security requirements.

Our vacant property management services include:
  • Security requirements including boarding up, fencing, CCTV, fire alarms, 24/7 monitoring and response
  • Property clearance
  • Isolation of utilities, draining wet systems and gas purging
  • Monthly or bi-monthly inspections
  • Building maintenance as required
  • Grounds maintenance
  • Pest control
